What is a Full-Time DJ?
Some “DJs” slap together some cheap gear and have only hosted maybe five or ten events in their lives. We call those “bedroom DJs.” If you’re throwing a professional event, you need a full-time professional. There’s no way around that. No one without the experience should host an event.
Are DJs Also MCs?
For some club-style DJs it’s all about the music. And while they may be skilled at mixing and song selection, they’re terrible on the mic. We applaud their craft, but to truly be an event DJ service, you need to be an event host. It’s crucial to have both the DJ skills and the MC personality.
